About
Hello, I am Stacey Landstra,

CRPO Reg #18556
Welcome to Better Mental Health Ontario! I am glad you have found your way here and I look forward to answering all of your questions and finding out if I can help you with your journey.
I believe that clients are the experts in their own life. My role is one of providing a client-focused, non-judgmental space with support to empower and equip clients to be the best version of themselves. Therapy offers a great opportunity to improve health, healing, and strength.
Having experience working with youth and families struggling with mental health disorders, addictions, immigration, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, mental health disorders, and abuse, I come to table with an open mind and a compassionate heart. I am passionate about helping people build the tools they need to reach their goals.
I believe that working with people, mind, body and spirit, is valuable. My faith impacts my life journey and I offer a safe space to explore many topics including faith and culture. I work through a neurobiological, psychosocial, trauma informed lens and draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to tailor sessions to clients needs.

More About Me
I am happily married to my husband for over 20 years now. We I have 4 children, 2 whom are adults and 2 teens. We also have 2 Saint Bernard's and 1 Mountain Bernese so its a busy place some days :)
I am passionate about helping people journey through mental health challenges toward a more fulfilling life. I am also passionate about advocacy for mental health at all levels. We as families, communities and a province are often doing what we can, and I believe that we can do better. We can support people in better ways, we can educate the public in better ways and we can change systems to make navigating through mental health struggles less devastating to those who need help.
